EKU and EKU Online use the Blackboard LMS system for course creation and delivery. We are currently using version 9.1 and there is an app, as well as a mobile version of Blackboard.
However, this does not necessarily mean all of your course content will work on all devices and different browsers.

In today’s world of online learning, there
are no shortage of options, both for
instructors, and learners.
But which option is best for your content and your course?
And how do you make it all work?
Media formats are sometimes browser and device specific.
By using a universal HTML5 player, your course media can be formatted to work across many different browsers, devices, and operating platforms.
Your Instructional Designer can help advise you on using this format, or offer support in transcoding your course media.
There are also several web apps available for creating course content that works across platforms and devices.
Your Instructional Designer can offer support in finding these resources, as well as developing content for your course, or training on how to use the apps.
EKU and EKU Online do not provide programming support for creating native apps, or apps that are downloaded to devices.
Readings
and Materials
The main thing for you to remember as you develop your course, is to make sure your media content is accessible to the widest possible range of users.
Again, your Instructional Designer can provide assistance and support as needed.
Click the Readings and Materials link below to access the readings for this section of the module.
